This hot bean dip recipe is a real crowd pleaser with creamy refried beans tossed with cream cheese, sour cream, green chiles, taco seasonings and lots of melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese. It is perfect for game parties, movie nights and block parties.

Ingredients
- 1 package (Size 8 oz) Cream Cheese
- 2 cans (Size 16 oz) Refried Beans
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 1 envelope (approx. 1 oz. size) Taco seasoning (mild or hot)
- 1 box (7 oz size) Chopped Green Chilies
- ⅛ teaspoons Ground cayenne pepper (to taste)
- 2 cups Shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup Diced tomatoes
- ½ cups Sliced green onions
- 1 Jalapeno, thinly sliced
Preparation
Melt the cream cheese in a large skillet over very low heat. Stir in refried beans, sour cream, taco seasoning, green chiles, ground cayenne pepper, 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Cook until smooth and slightly melted.
Pour into a 9×13 casserole dish and top with the rest of the cheese. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with diced tomatoes, sliced green onions and jalapeno. Serve with tortilla chips.
