Ingredients
- FOR THE WAFFLES:
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 tablespoons White sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1-½ cup Milk
- ½ cups Melted butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- FOR THE CHANTILLED CREAM:
- 2 cups Whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- FOR THE TOPPINGS:
- Maple syrup
- 1-½ cup Strawberries, cut
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- ½ cups hot fondant
- 1 Banana, sliced
Preparation
Preheat the waffle maker. Combine flour, sugars, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Add egg, milk, butter and vanilla. Stir until completely blended and all lumps are gone. Depending on the size of your waffle maker, pour about 1/2 to 1 cup of batter into the waffle maker and cook until brown and crispy. Continue with the rest of the dough.
Chill a glass bowl in the freezer for at least an hour. When you are ready to make the whipped cream, add the whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla to the chilled bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix on medium speed for 5-7 minutes until stiff peaks form. You should be able to lift the blender and the spikes will stay in place.
To serve, place toppings in individual bowls and top each waffle with desired toppings.
