Vegan macaroni and cheese, prepared with cheese with a nutritional yeast sauce.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces, weight Shells
- ½ cups nutritional yeast
- ½ cups All purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 cups Almond milk
- ¼ cups Vegan Butter
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs (optional)
Preparation
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine nutritional yeast, flour and seasonings. Stir in milk and continue to whisk constantly over medium heat until boiling. Off the heat, add the butter then mix the sauce and the pasta.
You can eat as is or pour the pasta into a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs. Bake at 350ºF for 20 to 30 minutes.
