Simple cornbread without dairy or eggs.
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- ¼ cups Granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- ¾ teaspoons Salt
- ½ cups Olive or vegetable oil
- 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Add oil and milk and whisk until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9 inch pie dish. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
