Ingredients
- 16 ounces, weight Cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup Grated cheddar cheese
- 5 Green onions, chopped, for more flavor (optional)
- 2 ounces, weight Buddig beef pastrami (or fresh deli pastrami) thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 package (approx. 3/4 oz. package) Zesty Italian Dressing Mix
- 16 ounces, weight Fisher’s Sliced Almonds, for coating
- Ritz crackers, or your choice of vegetables, to serve
- Freshly chopped parsley (for garnish)
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the slivered almonds. With your hands, roll everything into a big ball.
Take a plate and spread slivered almonds on it. Then roll the cheese ball over it to completely cover it.
Place on a serving platter with crackers and/or vegetables. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and garnish.
This can be stored overnight in the refrigerator so the flavors can blend or serve immediately.
