Tips for the best stuffed burgers! Burgers stuffed with cheese and bacon are all the rage so I show you my version! Juicy, full of flavor (literally), and all the stuffing stays in the middle, where it belongs!
Preparation:
Cook:
Level: Easy
Ingredients
- 2-¼ pounds Ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
- 6 ounces, weight Grated cheese (I used Quesadilla cheese)
- 3 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tbsp Avocado oil
Preparation
Divide ground beef into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a thin patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Season the tops of 6 of the patties with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Top each of the 6 patties with 1 ounce of cheese and 1/2 slice of crumbled bacon.
Place 1 of the remaining unseasoned burger patties on the cheese and bacon covered patties. Seal the edges well so that the cheese does not leak during cooking. Season each stuffed burger patty with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the avocado oil. Sear the burgers on each side to form a crust. Reduce the heat to medium and cover the pan. Cook 5 minutes.
Remove from skillet and let stand for at least 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite low carb burger toppings.
