Delicious smoked chicken drumsticks.
- 12 pieces Chicken drumsticks
- ¼ cups light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1-¼ tsp Kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoons Ground black pepper
Combine salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar and pepper in a small bowl.
Grab a few of your favorite wood chips, go to your smoke, and preheat it to 250F. After that, add the wood chips.
Use the spice blend to generously season the chicken.
Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the smoker and place them on the smoker grate and smoke for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. After 45 minutes, check the temperature with a thermometer. The chicken will be cooked to a meat temperature of 165F.
