I know many of you have eaten seaweed in sushi, but Koreans also like to eat it as a side dish with rice. This has been one of my favorite seaweed side dishes since childhood!
- 20 pieces seaweed sheets
- 3 tablespoons Soya sauce
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 3 tablespoons Sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons Roasted sesame seeds
- ¼ cups Pine nuts (optional)
In a large bowl, tear the seaweed into small pieces. Add the soy sauce and water, and massage into the seaweed.
Add sesame oil and sesame seeds and massage again to infuse the seaweed flavor. If desired, sprinkle pine nuts over the seaweed. Serve with rice.
