- 1 pound Green beans, washed and trimmed
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 Lemon, zested
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Lemon juice, if desired
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 450ºF.
In a medium bowl, toss the green beans with the olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Place green beans on a foil-covered baking sheet.
Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, tossing halfway through to ensure even cooking. Serve immediately with freshly squeezed lemon juice if desired.
