This is my favorite way to enjoy Brussels sprouts: roasted in the oven with olive oil, lots of garlic, and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

Level: Easy
Ingredients
- 27 ounces, weight Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, grated or finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons Fresh orange juice
- Salt to taste
- Freshly grated parmesan for garnish
- 1 Orange, cut into wedges, for serving
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Clean the sprouts and cut them in half if they are too large. Place on prepared platter. Add olive oil, garlic, orange juice and a little salt. Rub well with your hands.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked to your liking but still al dente, and there are tiny burnt bits to be seen here and there.
Sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan and serve immediately with orange wedges.
