Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons Freshly grated ginger
- 1 cup Cold and filtered water
- 2 Lemons
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 cup Ice
- ¼ cups Regular seltzer water
Preparation
Grate the fresh ginger and add it to a small saucepan with cold filtered water. Place on the stove over high heat until the water begins to boil. As soon as the water boils, turn off the heat, cover and let steep for 10 minutes.
While the ginger macerates, start squeezing the lemons. Add the lemon juice to a tall glass with the raw honey. (I personally thought 1 1/2 tablespoons of honey was fine, but you can use more or less.)
After 10 minutes, pour the ginger water through a strainer into the glass with the lemon juice and honey. Stir with a spoon until the honey is dissolved. Immediately add ice and some seltzer water and enjoy!
