Preparation:
To cook:
Level: Easy
Serves: 8
Ingredients
- 1 pound Raw pizza crust
- 3 tablespoons Quality extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves Garlic
- Salt
- 2 cups Whole milk mozzarella, grated
- ½ cups Whole Milk Ricotta
Preparation
Preheat a pizza pan or stone on the bottom rack of the oven to 500°F. Don’t use the convection feature because you want the heat to come from the bottom to bake the bottom crust properly.
Roll out the dough to the size of the pizza pan on a sheet of parchment paper. Spread olive oil and pressed garlic evenly over crust to within 1 inch of edges. Sprinkle lightly with salt.
Top the base with the shredded mozzarella, then spoon a few evenly spaced spoonfuls of unseasoned ricotta, 1/2 teaspoon at a time, on top.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the bottom of the crust is lightly browned and the top of the pizza begins to caramelize. Let rest for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
