Lemon Oreo Thins with a bright pink chocolate layer in the center, topped with a vanilla drizzle and colorful spring sprinkles!
- 1 package (Size 10 oz) Lemon Oreo Thins
- 1 package (Size 10 oz) Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers
- 6 drops Bright pink food coloring, or as needed for desired color
- 1 teaspoon Strawberry Extract (or Vanilla)
- 1 bag (12 oz. Size) Yellow Candy Background
- ¾ cups Decorative sequins
Remove the Oreo Thins from the packaging and arrange them on a cookie sheet.
The microwave melts according to the instructions on the package. Once melted, stir in the hot pink food coloring. You can use more or less depending on the color. Add strawberry extract and stir until thickened. The chocolate will no longer be liquid after these 2 steps and that’s okay. There are colorings to keep the chocolate in the mood, but we want it thick to hold the Oreos together.
Using a piping bag pierced with a very large hole, spread about 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate on each cookie. You can also use a knife if you don’t have a piping bag. Place another cookie on top of each frosted cookie and press down so the chocolate comes to the edges.
After crafting your stackers, melt the yellow candies according to the package instructions. Pour into another piping bag or a bag with a small hole.
Drizzle the stackers with a coating of yellow vanilla, then top with sprinkles. Once the chocolate has set, they are ready to be tasted!
