Oven Roasted Parmesan Asparagus is a quick and easy side dish combining healthy asparagus, chopped garlic and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. This savory side is one of my favorite recipes for easy weeknight meals.
- 1 pound Asparagus tips, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ¼ cups Grated fresh parmesan cheese divided
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic and 2 tablespoons Parmesan. Bake until tender-crisp, about 8 to 15 minutes, or until fork tender.
Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan and serve.
Note: Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the asparagus.
