Start your day off right with these paleo, dairy-free, chocolate and turmeric no-bake energy bars!

Ingredients
- ½ cups Almond butter
- ¼ cups Coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbsp Ground turmeric
- 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Ground flax seed meal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cups Dark chocolate chips, paleo-friendly (optional)
Preparation
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend on the slowest setting, you don’t want the mixture to get too runny.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the mixture and form a square 1/4 inch thick. Add a few dark chocolate chips on top. Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours, the more the better.
Remove from the freezer, add a drizzle of dark chocolate (optional) and cut into squares. Leave leftovers in the freezer, not the fridge, they will taste so much better!
