Aguas frescas (Spanish for “fresh waters”) are a combination of fruits, grains, or flowers mixed with sugar and water to make a light, non-alcoholic drink.
- 2 cups Cucumber
- 1 cup Mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- Slices of cucumber or slices of lemon, for garnish (optional)
Combine cucumber, mint and sugar in a blender and mash. Filter the mixture and add the lemon juice. Adjust the sugar to taste.
Take a glass, add ice cubes and pour the drink. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and cucumber or lemon slices if desired.
