Ingredients
- ½ cups Butter, room temperature
- ½ cups Brown sugar, firmly packed
- ¾ cups Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1-¼ cup Plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Preparation
Cream the butter at room temperature with the sugars using an electric mixer. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix.
Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until just combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix with a spatula. Leave the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Use an ice cream scoop or scoop to make evenly sized cookies. Place cookie dough on a greased or lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Cool on a baking sheet for 10 minutes before giving in to the urge to try these perfectly moist chocolate chip cookies.
