This King’s Hawaiian French Toast is a delicious combination of sweet King’s rolls, pineapple and coconut. It’s stylish enough for overnight guests but simple enough for a weekday breakfast.

Ingredients
- 1 package (Size 12 units) Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons Butter, divided
- 1 box (8 oz size) Pineapple chunks, drained
- ¼ cups Maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoons Vanilla
- 3 tablespoons Sweet coconut flakes
Preparation
Cut the Kings Hawaiian rolls in half.
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk and cinnamon.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter to a small saucepan. Add the drained pineapple, maple syrup and vanilla. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from fire.
Heat a 12 inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet. Working quickly, dip the rolls into the egg mixture and add to the skillet. Cook until bottom is golden, flip and cook until brown on other side. Work in two batches. Keep the first batch in the oven uncovered on hot.
Pour the pineapple syrup over the French toast and sprinkle with coconut.
