Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Avocado oil
- ½ Onion, diced
- 1 Green pepper, diced
- 1 pound italian sausage
- 1 pound Ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar (Size 24 oz) Rao’s Marinara Sauce
- 2 cups Grated mozzarella cheese
- ½ cups Grated parmesan
- 30 Pepperoni slices
- ¼ cups Sliced black olives (optional)
Preparation
In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the onions and green peppers in the avocado oil until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add sausage and ground beef, chop and stir until brown. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Drain the fat from the meat and discard it. Add sauce, stirring to combine.
Flatten the top with a spatula. Add both cheeses to cover the top. Add a solid layer of pepperoni on top. Add sliced olives (optional).
Place the skillet in the oven over high heat to brown the top. To serve.
