Homemade barbecue sauce with Pakistani spices. No need for liquid smoke.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced or grated
- 1 piece Ginger (chopped or grated)
- 1 cup Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ cups Orange juice
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 red peppers
- 2 tablespoons Soya sauce
- 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon Cumin powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Mustard powder
Preparation
Heat the oil then add the chopped onion, ginger, garlic and chopped red pepper. Stir them for a few minutes until fragrant.
Add all remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
Let the sauce cool. Once the sauce has cooled, place it in a blender and blend until smooth.
