This healthy pina colada smoothie is a great dairy-free alternative to your regular pina colada.
- 1-½ cup Pieces of fresh pineapple
- ½ cups Unsweetened coconut flakes
- 6 ounces, weight Dairy Free Coconut Dream Plain Or Vanilla Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Dear
- 1 cup Ice cubes
Blend fresh pineapple chunks in a blender, followed by unsweetened coconut flakes. Add the dairy-free yogurt to the blender. (For this shake, I like to use plain or vanilla coconut dream – plain makes the smoothie a little more tart while vanilla makes it a little sweeter.)
Add honey and ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Depending on how thick you like your shake, you can add more ice at this time. If your pineapple isn’t sweet enough, you can add a little more honey, if needed, for extra sweetness.
