You will love this bone-in grilled chicken breast recipe. The lemon pepper gives just the right amount of spice to bring out the flavor of the chicken. You can also use bone-in thighs and/or bone-in thighs.
Preparation:
To cook:
Level: Easy
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Chicken with bone
- 2 tablespoons Avocado oil
- 3 teaspoons Lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
Preparation
Preheat grill to 400ºF.
Cut off any excess chicken skin and add the chicken to a bowl. Add the oil and make sure it coats all sides. Add the lemon, salt and pepper and mix everything over the chicken.
Cook the chicken on the preheated grill. Rotate the chicken after getting nice burn marks on one side and it looks like it can’t last before it burns. Monitor the chicken with a meat thermometer. You are looking for a temperature just below 165°F before removing it from the grill. If you are cooking a chicken breast with thighs and thighs, be prepared to remove the chicken early as the breast will not be cooked yet.
Let the cooked chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Enjoy! Come in and savor some of that great chicken.
