It’s here! The final season of Game of Thrones! It’s time ! And I have the perfect cocktail for that. This White Walker cocktail is an easy cocktail to make but it is also quite creative. These are spikes of rock candy, blue salt, a liqueur that will turn your cocktail blue, and more!

Level: Easy
Serves: 1
Ingredients
- FOR THE DRAGON GLASS CANDY:
- 150 grams Sugar
- 150 milliliters Water
- 2 drops blue food coloring
- FOR THE COCKTAIL:
- 2 tablespoons Kosher salt
- 2 drops blue food coloring
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1 cup Crushed ice, or as needed
- 44.4 milliliters Vodka
- 29.6 milliliters blue curacao
- 1 cup Lemonade, or as needed
Preparation
For the dragon glass candy:
Put the sugar and water in a saucepan, then bring to a boil on the stove. Once the syrup comes to a boil, lower the heat to medium. After about 10 to 15 minutes you should start to see the syrup turn slightly golden.
Once the sugar syrup turns into a caramel (i.e. it has a nice golden color), turn off the heat, then carefully add a small drop of blue food coloring and mix. Pour the caramel onto parchment paper or a silicone mat, then wait for it to cool.
For the White Walker cocktail:
Put the glass in the freezer for about 5 minutes.
Put some salt on a plate, then add 1-2 drops of food coloring and spread it over the salt. Mix until the salt turns blue, then spread it a little on the plate. Take the glass out of the freezer, rub the lemon wedge over the rim of the glass, then dip the wet rim in the blue salt.
Fill a quarter of the glass with crushed ice, then add the vodka, blue curaçao and squeeze the juice from the lemon wedge. Mix it little by little with a spoon.
Top off the cocktail with lemonade, then finish with a little more crushed ice if desired. Finally, break off long candy shards and stick them into the cocktail to make it really cool. Serve the drink immediately and enjoy!
