Level: Easy
Ingredients
- ½ cups Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Standard Oats
- ½ cups 1% milk
- ½ cups Plain Greek yogurt 0%
- 2 teaspoons Dear
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoons Ground nutmeg
- ½ Fresh peach, pitted and sliced
Preparation
Add the oats and low-fat milk to a container that we will later place in the fridge overnight. Add a layer of Greek yogurt, then honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Follow this with a layer of sliced peaches just above.
Place it in the fridge overnight or for at least 4-5 hours. The longer the better, because we really want those flavors to blend and the oats to soak up all the liquid.
In the morning, simply take the jar out of the fridge, stir and enjoy. You can eat it cold straight out of the fridge, which we like to do, or you can reheat it in the microwave for about 2 minutes and enjoy it hot.
Note: Although this recipe calls for regular milk, almond milk can easily be substituted (and is still very delicious!) for non-dairy diets.
