- 1 cup Water
- 4 whole Russet Potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Butter without salt
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 6 tbsp, 2 tsp, 4-⅝ pinches Milk
- 2 tablespoons Grated parmesan
- Kosher salt and pepper
First, fill the Instant Pot with water and place the steamer in the pot. Add the quartered potatoes to the steamer. Close and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes, then use the quick release method to release steam.
Heat a saucepan over medium heat and melt the butter. Add garlic and kosher salt, sauté garlic until fragrant. Then add the milk to the pan and deglaze. Remove the mixture from the skillet.
Open the Instant Pot. Mash the potatoes in a mixing bowl. Add half of the garlic butter to the bowl. Continue to mash and stir until desired consistency. Add cheese and season with salt and pepper.
