Ingredients
- 2 cups Jasmine Rice
- 1 box (13 1/2 oz. size) Coconut Milk
- 1-½ cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar (or To taste)
- 1 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)
Preparation
In a medium saucepan, rinse the jasmine rice several times until the water runs clear. Drain the excess water and add the coconut milk, water, salt and sugar.
On high heat, bring the mixture to a boil. Once it begins to boil, lower the heat to low and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Uncover and continue cooking for 5 minutes. Air and serve. Garnish with a little chopped cilantro.
