Super easy and oh so healthy, these Cinnamon Apple Crisps are a fantastic snack with no added sugar. They taste so good that you always feel like you’re indulging in a real treat.

Level: Easy
Serves: 1
Ingredients
- 1 whole medium apple
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 100°C (200°F).
Using a mandolin, thinly slice the apple. I have found they work best at 3mm (see note below).
Place the apple slices on a baking sheet lined with baking powder. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon. Flip and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon.
Place in the lower part of the oven. Flip after 1 hour and return to the oven. Bake another 2 hours then test. To test, take a crisp out of the oven and let sit for 4-5 minutes before checking the crisp. If still soft, cook for another 30 to 60 minutes.
Note: I didn’t bother to core the apples – with a little extra work to remove the seeds after slicing you get a nice star shape in the middle slices. Plus, you don’t waste any apples!
