Level: Easy
Ingredients
- 1-½ stick Salted butter
- ½ cups Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 1-½ cup Dark brown sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F and spray an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray. Combine butter and peanut butter chunks in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Microwave another 30 seconds and stir some more. They should be completely melted at this point. Then add the brown sugar, then the eggs and vanilla extract. Slowly add flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter into an even layer in the prepared baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes. The top should be dry and starting to crisp around the edges, while the center will still be slightly gooey. Let cool completely, then cut into 16 squares, making 3 equal cuts both vertically and horizontally. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
