It’s the best on-the-go dessert for your next potluck! It’s super easy to make and combines a few of my favorite things: chocolate brownies, cheesecake, and cherry pie!
Preparation:
To cook:
Level: Easy
Serves: 12
Ingredients
- 1 box (Approximately 18 oz. Size for 9×13 Pan) Brownie Mix
- Required additional ingredients specified in the mix packaging (usually water, eggs and oil)
- 16 ounces, weight Cream cheese, softened
- ½ cups Sugar
- 2 whole large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ½ cups Sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Plain flour
- 21 ounces, weight Cherry Pie Filling
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a 9×13 baking dish with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Prepare brownie batter according to package directions (you will usually need water, eggs, and oil, as directed on the batter package). Spread the dough in the bottom of the baking dish. Set aside time to make the cheesecake.
For cheesecake layer, in bowl of electric mixer, combine cream cheese and sugar and mix until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla extract, sour cream and flour and beat to combine. Spread cheesecake mixture on top of brownie batter.
Gently spoon a dollop of cherry pie filling on top of the cheesecake and swirl around with a knife.
Bake for 35-45 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the middle. Let cool on the counter for an hour then refrigerate until completely chilled.
