A creamy cheese blend makes this fondue delicious, delicious and fun to eat.
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 pound Fondue cheese or grate your own Swiss and Gruyere cheese
- 1 cup Dry white wine
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 pinch Cracked black pepper
- 1 loaf Rustic Bread, Cubed Or Torn, For Serving
- 2 cups Any vegetables you want, to serve (optional)
Rub the fondue pot with the garlic clove. Do not be shy. Then reheat the fondue pot.
Once the pan is warmed, add the cheese(s), wine and lemon juice. Mix well. Pepper and stir a little more. Once it starts to melt, keep stirring.
If the fondue starts to thicken, add a little wine, stir and thin it out. Keep the heat low and when you eat, prick the bread and vegetables and stir in this cheesy wonder.
Dip and go. My wife and I love the cheese fondue. The strength of the cheese kinda freaked out my kids, who love cheese, which was great because it meant more goodness for us. Go fondue! I hope you enjoy and that your new year starts well.
