Enjoy this modern version of the traditional chai!
- 1 bag (Individual size) Tea
- 8 ounces, liquid Hot water
- 3 ounces, liquid Milk
- 1 ounce, liquid Bourbon
- ¼ ounce, liquid Amaretto (an almond flavored liqueur)
- ¼ ounce, liquid Grand Marnier (an orange liqueur)
- 1 lemon wedge
- 3 whole Cloves
Steep the tea in hot water for 3-4 minutes. Remove the tea bag.
In a saucepan, combine the tea mixture and milk. Let simmer, stirring occasionally.
Pour into a coffee mug. Add bourbon, amaretto and Grand Marnier. Stir briefly.
Prick the lemon wedge with the cloves and add to the mixture.
