Level: Easy
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 pounds Ground chicken
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Dried dill
- 1 tbsp Dried parsley
- 1 tbsp salt
- ½ cups Butter
- ¾ cups Cayenne pepper hot sauce such as Frank’s
- Butter or romaine lettuce leaves, to serve
- ¼ cups Torn coriander leaves
- 2 whole Green onions, thinly sliced
- Gorgonzola or blue cheese crumbles for serving
Preparation
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Add ground chicken and cook, stirring as you go, for about 7 minutes. Cut the chicken into small pieces during this time.
Add all the spices to the chicken and stir for 2 more minutes to coat the chicken in the spices.
Add the butter and hot sauce to the chicken mixture. Turn off the heat and stir gently to melt the butter and create a sauce. The butter mixture should coat the chicken without being too creamy.
Taste the chicken mixture and add more salt if it seems bland or more hot sauce if you like the extra spice.
Serve the chicken with lettuce cups and cilantro, green onions and cheese crumbs for building lettuce wraps. Enjoy!
