These crumpled brownie mix cookies — some call them “crackle” cookies — have to be the easiest things I’ve ever baked. This recipe simplifies the crumpling/crunching process by using boxed brownie mix, which means I save time and know they’ll be perfect.

Ingredients
- 1 packet (18-20 oz size) Brownie Mix
- 1-½ cup Flour
- ⅓ cups Vegetable Oil Or Applesauce
- 3 Eggs
- ½ cups Powdered sugar (more if needed)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Combine brownie mix, 1 cup flour, oil and eggs in large bowl. Add the rest of the flour until the dough is thick and not too sticky.
Take 2 tablespoons of dough and roll it into a ball. Coat with powdered sugar. Place on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 11 to 13 minutes.
