- 5 Large carrots, peeled and sliced diagonally
- ¼ cups Water
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 teaspoons Dear
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Combine carrots and water in a covered sauté pan and steam over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes, until carrots begin to soften. Remove the lid and let the remaining water cook.
Add butter, reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3 to 4 minutes more, stirring frequently. Be careful not to let the butter burn. Add honey, cook 1 minute more, then season with salt and pepper and serve.
