Broccolini is a nice cross between plain old broccoli and Chinese kale. This Garlic Broccolini is a delicious way to prepare the tasty hybrid.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch Broccolini, ends trimmed
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove Garlic, very thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the broccolini for 2 to 3 minutes. Once cooked, plunge it directly into a bowl of ice water. Remove from water and pat dry with a few paper towels.
Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the very finely minced garlic and cook until lightly browned. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
Increase the heat to high and drop the broccolini into it. Season with a little salt and pepper and sauté for 5-10 minutes, until tender. Remove from skillet and add to serving platter. Sprinkle with garlic slices and serve immediately.
