An easy Beef and Cheese Stuffed Manicotti recipe is perfect for a simple dinner or a special party. A great pasta casserole to fill your freezer with.
- 1 pound Ground beef, cooked
- 1 jar (24 oz size) Spaghetti Sauce
- 1-½ cup Shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- ⅓ cups Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cups Chopped parsley
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons Finely chopped onion
- 7 Manicotti shells, cooked al dente
Combine cooked ground beef and your favorite pot spaghetti sauce. Pour half of the sauce into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, combine 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, parmesan, parsley, eggs and onion. Gently spoon the filling into each manicotti shell and place over the sauce in a baking dish.
Pour remaining meat sauce over stuffed manicotti shells and top with remaining 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes, until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly.
