These five ingredient baked pears are an incredibly easy light healthy dessert that the whole family can enjoy. This delicious fresh fruit dessert can be baked in less than five minutes. You can enjoy them à la mode, with plain or vanilla Greek yogurt or as is. In fact, I prefer them as they come out of the oven.

Level: Easy
Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 3 Pears (Anjou Or Bosc)
- ½ cups Granola
- ⅓ cups chopped pecans
- 3 pinches Cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons Maple syrup
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Cut the pears in half and use a melon baller to scoop out the core, being careful not to go all the way to the bottom.
Combine granola and chopped pecans in a bowl. Divide evenly among the pears, pouring into the hole you dug. Sprinkle pears with cinnamon and drizzle with maple syrup. Bake for 25 minutes uncovered on a baking sheet.
Note: It is best to serve pears quickly when they are hot and the filling is crisp.
