Tasty air fryer drumsticks.
- 6 pieces Chicken drumsticks
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Paprika
- ¼ teaspoons Ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- FOR THE BRINE:
- 4 cups Water
- 4 tablespoons Kosher salt
- FOR THE GLAZE:
- ¼ cups Honey
- ¼ cups Hot Sauce Or Sriracha Sauce
- 1 ounce, weight Butter
Add the brine ingredients and the chicken drumsticks to a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
After brining, pat the chicken dry with paper towel.
In another bowl, combine salt, paprika, ground black pepper, garlic powder, baking powder and chicken drumsticks. Mix well until well coated.
Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes at 350ºF. Flip the chicken halfway through cooking.
After 20 minutes, increase the cooking temperature to 400ºF and cook an additional 5 minutes to brown the chicken.
In a hot skillet, combine the glaze ingredients and simmer for one minute. Coat the chicken drumsticks with the glaze. Serve hot.
