Crispy and delicious air fried calamari.
- 1 cup Yellow cornmeal
- ½ teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 1 whole beaten egg
- 6 ounces, weight Squid rings
Combine cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt and black pepper in a bowl. Add flour to a separate bowl. Add the beaten egg to a separate bowl.
Dip the calamari rings in the flour, then the egg, then the cornmeal mixture. Place the calamari rings in the air fryer and bake at 320°F for 12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
