A ridiculously easy three-minute version of the classic dish. Perfect as a healthy dip or snack to keep you feeling full between meals.
- 1 box (Size 15 oz) Chickpeas
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 teaspoons tahini paste
- ⅓ teaspoons Cumin
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- Paprika powder, to garnish
Open the can of chickpeas and drain using a sieve or colander. Reserving half the water, rinse the chickpeas and put them in a large mixing bowl with the reserved bean water.
Crush the garlic and add it to the bowl, along with all the other ingredients. Use a hand blender to smooth it into a paste. If it’s too thick, add a small drop of water. Take it easy, you don’t want it to leak.
Sprinkle with paprika powder for a fresh red garnish. Done, enjoy!
